Kin Canada Bursaries
Is a program of the Hal Rogers Endowment Fund, which provides financial help for those seeking higher learning.
"In memory of the Association's founder, who passed away in September 1994 at the age of 95, Kin Canada established the Hal Rogers Endowment Fund, the purpose of which is to promote, encourage and sponsor educational programs and activities. Kin Canada Bursaries, a program of the Hal Rogers Endowment Fund, provides financial assistance to eligible persons in their quest for higher learning" at a recognized university, community college, technical institute or other post-secondary institution for advanced education. The Endowment Fund awards $1,000 bursaries to successful applicants.
- Kin Canada Bursaries are awarded based on the following:
- Financial Need
- Community and Volunteer Involvement
- Knowledge of/Experience with Kinsmen and Kinettes
